Reconfigured the local network......

Used a single floppy linux firewall/router, and put the WAP on a subnet.... This weekend I reconfigured the network here at the house using floppy based linux firewall/router known as Coyote Linux I also then used the Linux router to serve as a DHCP server so that the WAP Router can use it to get an IP address. Moved the WAP router to the 192.168.254 subnet. Makes it kind of hard for anything attached via wireless to get to my base network.
